Phoebe’s brother Frank is planning to marry a woman twice his age who was formerly his teacher. Concerned about Frank getting married at 18, Phoebe enlists Joey and Ross to dissuade him. However, upon seeing Frank’s genuine love for Alice, they agree to be his best man and ring bearer. Meanwhile, Monica receives an invitation to go out with a millionaire. In another subplot, Chandler uses a hypnosis tape to quit smoking. The tape’s message, “you are a strong, confident woman who doesn’t need to smoke,” inadvertently causes Chandler to adopt feminine behaviors.
