However, despite her hopes, she does not ultimately secure the job.
Meanwhile, Ross undergoes a notable transformation, shedding his typically calm demeanor during a tense poker game between the genders.
Monica, recognizing the need for a strategic edge, seeks guidance from her aunt, a seasoned poker player, in a bid to enhance their chances in future games.

In the episode the song that Ross’ monkey Marcel plays incessantly is ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’ by The Tokens, which was also used during the sex scene that Courteney Cox performed with Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994). Ace also had a monkey identical to Marcel called Spike.
