It is Rachel’s first day at her new job. Mark offers to take her out for lunch, which makes Ross extremely jealous. Meanwhile, Monica becomes romantically involved with Julio, a “poet” from her workplace. Joey secures a role in a musical by falsely claiming he has dancing experience. In an attempt to assert his relationship with Rachel, Ross sends flowers, musical insects, and even a singing quartet to her office to signal to Mark that she has a boyfriend.
Additionally, Chandler and Ross attend Chandler’s cousin’s stag night, and the following day, Ross takes Ben to play with the stripper’s child. Despite having previously asked Ross to stop being jealous of her friendship with Mark, Rachel finds herself feeling jealous.
