Sony Pictures has confirmed a June 20, 2025 release date for 28 Years Later, with production recently wrapped after filming began in May 2024. While no trailer or teaser images have been released, it’s reported that parts of the film were shot using adapted iPhone 15 cameras, adding an innovative visual layer.

Cillian Murphy reprises his role as Jim and also takes on producer duties.
