Cass Warner’s Legacy and Career

Cass Warner, a film producer and Cole Hauser’s mother, left behind a legacy in the entertainment industry. She was born on March 8, 1948, to Betty Warner and Milton Sperling.

Following her divorce from actor Wings Hauser in 1977, Cass primarily raised Cole. Growing up, Cole developed a love for ranching, spending much of his childhood in Oregon before relocating to Santa Barbara, California.

Cass’s family heritage, being the granddaughter of Harry Warner, one of the founders of Warner Bros., influenced Cole’s career path in acting. In 2007, Cass wrote, directed, narrated, and produced the TV documentary, “The Brothers Warner: The Intimate Story of a Hollywood Studio Family Dynasty.”

She also penned a biography of the same year and founded her own production company, Warner Sisters. On her Instagram page, she described herself as a “3rd generation filmmaker, author, mother, Nona, concerned citizen, Rip’s mom,” in reference to her son’s Yellowstone character.

Her last post on Instagram was a photo of her grandchildren, Ryland and Colt, expressing pride in them and acknowledging Cole’s parenting alongside his wife Cynthia Daniel. Cole and Cynthia, who married in 2006, have a daughter named Steely Rose.
