While redemption may be on his cards this year with the Christmas Day arrival of Nosferatu, all eyes are on Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later starring Cillian Murphy, alongside his own. In a recent conversation on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Johnson struggled with the lack of “enough vocabulary to articulate” the extraordinary experience.
Giving the credits to the “two finest British actors,” Murphy and Ralph Fiennes for making the filming a stage of mastery, Johnson redirected his swooning session for the filmmaker. He highlighted Boyle’s “child-like enthusiasm” and unrelenting energy to explain how contagious it was that “inspired” him to be an actor all over again.
