The Dublin production team behind Poor Things claims the awards for best production design, best hair and makeup and best costume design, while Emma Stone bagged Best Actress for her role in the comedy.
Cillian Murphy scooped another big win this awards season as he took home best actor at this evening’s BAFTA Awards in London.
The Douglas man was nominated for his critically acclaimed performance as the titular character in Christopher Nolan’s box office hit Oppenheimer. Murphy wasn’t the only person from the movie to go home with an award – Christopher Nolan won best director and his co-star Robert Downey Jr took home the best supporting actor award earlier in the evening, beating out Paul Mescal among others.
The huge team who worked on the film from behind the camera didn’t go home empty handed either, as the blockbuster swept a number of big awards at the prestigious ceremony. Oppenheimer won best editing, best original score and best cinematography
