Blue Bloods cancelled after 14 years as final two-part season set to hit screens

Blue Bloods has officially been cancelled, with network CBS announcing that the final ever instalment will be released to fans next year, with the first part dropping in February and a second arriving in the autumn.

The multi-generational drama has been running steadily since 2010 and rose to peaks of fame following the patriarch Frank Reagan (played by TOM SELLECK) Whose iconic moustache has become engrained in pop culture.

In a statement to People the lead actor gushed over the sensational role he’s kept a firm grip on for the last 275 episodes.

He declared it an “honour and privilege” to have worked on a show that “celebrates the men and women who protect and serve in New York City” and “displayed the importance of family”.
